1 heart room
2 current docs 5% of the time doing their own cases
DEA/CDS is required
30 days temp privs
Approximately 2500 cases annually; inclusive of 200 cardiac.
CRNA's are very proficient and do all the cases.
Schedule - 12 days on which includes Call of 1 weekend and every other weekday during 12 day shift. After the 12 days on - 9 days off. Works out to 17 weeks of vacation.
During the time off, there is locums positions locally to pick up additonal shifts.
