What will you work on at Hilton Geneva?
Working with the Security Manager, the maintains the highest standards of quality, health and safety. S/he is constantly always looking to continually improve and strive for best practice to satisfy goals set up for the hotel.
As Health, Safety & Environmental Specialistfor the Hilton Geneva Hotel & Conference Centre, you are in charge of:
- Raise awareness of the approach and compliance with ESG procedures (environmental, social and governance), expectations and goals for the hotel.
- Designing and delivering training for our Team Members to raise knowledge and awareness about ESG project.
- Define a safety and/or environmental policy in order to optimise waste disposal channels.
- Seeking opportunities to share best practise across the business.
- Develop and implement health and safety, accident prevention and/or environmental protection programmes following Hilton policies.
- Proposing improvements and/or developments in the field of health and safety and/or the environment.
- Carrying out internal and external health and safety and/or environmental audits in relation to regulations and procedures.
- Collecting safety, environment, health data sheets and manage light stay procedures of the hotel.
- Monitoring the application of health and safety and/or environmental legislation and rules and implementation of standards applicable to this field.

For this specific job opportunity, we would value the following skills, experience and attitude:
- School / university degree with a previous experience in Environment, Health and Safety advisor or consultant role (in the Hospitality industry is a must)
- Knowledge of swiss safety regulations and associated requirements
- Experience of designing training content and delivering environmental and health development project
- Working with data systems, inputting data and maintaining systems
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English, French and a third language is a plus
- Commitment to delivering a high level of creativity
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Competent level of IT proficiency
