The opportunity


We are currently seeking highly motivated people for our Technology Consulting practice, which is a leading provider of services to financial industry and large corporate clients of all industries.


You will work in multi-disciplinary teams to provide a broad range of information technology related services, such as IT strategy and architecture, IT implementation support, and software development. Team members include professionals with a variety of backgrounds, including excellent academic credentials in quantitative sciences, IT, engineering, business, and economics, as well as deep professional experience in Greece and abroad.


As an IT Professional you will contribute technical insight to client engagements and internal projects, in Greece and abroad. In line with EY's commitment to quality, you will ensure that your work is of the highest quality.


Key responsibilities


  • Develop efficient solutions with a focus on scalability and reusability based on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies
  • Gather business requirements and design future automation solutions
  • Develop detailed, structured, transparent, and complete deliverables (e.g. automation documentation, user manuals & instructions etc.)
  • Support UATs execution and solution deployment in multiple environments
  • Support Operations after go-live, monitoring and measuring the solution effectiveness
  • Revise and improve codes of existing solutions based on feedback from Support teams and business - performing code optimization and identify potential issues and defects and fix the same
  • Setup an environment (software installation, installation of related technologies)
  • Work with structured project plans, communicate any identified project risks and issues to the delivery manager accordingly and provide inputs to the change control process


Skills and attributes for success


To qualify for the role, you must have:


  • Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor’s and preferably a master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, or other related field with strong quantitative focus.
  • Experience in one or more of the leading RPA platforms i.e. BluePrism, MS Power Automate, UIPath
  • Passion for Intelligent Automation and an understanding of key related technologies
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating business with technology skills.
  • Strong team-player and self-starter attitude, with the ability to collaborate with clients, business consultants and project managers


Any of the following will also be considered an asset:


  • Certification in relevant RPA technologies
  • Experience in software development using one or more languages ( C#, Java, Python, JavaScript etc.).
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and experience working with at least one RDMS (SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or Web Services/APIs (such as REST or SOAP)
  • Knowledge and exposure to IT Infrastructure, Network technologies (TCP/IP etc.) and access management within enterprises.
