The primary roles and responsibilities for this role are-
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a seamless manner for a seamless viewing experience.
- Understand the needs and specifications of the production team based on the provided brief.
- Review shooting script and raw footage to create a shot decision list considering scene value and continuity.
- Trim footage segments and arrange them to create the desired sequence.
- Incorporate music, dialogues, subtitles, motion graphics, and special effects.
- Generate rough and final cuts of the video.
- Enhance and correct lighting, coloring, and any faulty footage.
- Enhance audio quality.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with the Director throughout the production to post-production process.
- Continuously explore and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
- Strong proficiency with digital technology and editing software packages such as Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut.
- Demonstrable video editing skills with a solid portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Thorough understanding of timing, motivation, and continuity in editing.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, 2D, and compositing techniques.
- Creative mindset and storytelling abilities.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
