Specifically the Advisor (Systems) will: - Liaise with business representatives and third party providers to gather business requirements for proposed new functionality in the areas of Finance and other SAP functionality such as Ariba, Fieldglass, CATS, S&D, P&PM and so on.- Provide accurate advice to business areas in regard to the use of the SAP Finance module and other SAP Functionality.- Assist in the formulation of solutions and recommendations for system issues and work requests from the business.The appointee may be required to participate in job rotation and multi-skilling acrossthe Systems Unit.Accountabilities include: - Deliver assigned work within tight deadlines and to a high standard.- Work within project management methodologies to deliver outcomes.- Provide general system advice and analyse issues where required and make recommendations.- Assist in the assessment of new demands, development of proposals and prepare briefings to translate business requirements into technical specifications in order to facilitate system modifications and upgrades to the Ariba, Fieldglass, SAP Finance module and other SAP functionality.- Assist in the testing of new functionality and business as usual fixes.- Participate as a member of project teams as required.- Prepare targeted communications in support of project implementation and business as usual activities.This role reports to the Systems Administration Manager (Systems)Mandatory requirements: - Criminal history screening will be conducted on the recommended person for the role.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/488957/23Closing Date: Thursday, 01 June 2023This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
