As an Office Specialist 2, you will:
- Provide clerical support and customer service to clients, field staff, foster parents, providers, the public, and agency staff in relation to cases at the branch level.
- Attend meetings as assigned by Supervisors including but not limited to, unit meetings, all staffs, and huddles.
- Provide reception support by maintaining order in the lobby area according to office policy and direction, answer phone calls and questions, direct people to appropriate services, resources, and/or community partners, and distribute client gas vouchers.
- Complete a high volume of paperwork including but not limited to, filing documents into case files, closing, and transferring cases, creating case and assessment files, entering personnel management.
What you need to qualify
- Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
- An associate degree in any field; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential attributes
We are looking for candidates with:
- Ability and or experience navigating Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other computer software programs.
- Experience utilizing time management, organization, and prioritization skills to track tasks and complete deadlines.
- Experience handling confidential information (example: case information; employment information, medical records, etc.).
- Experience providing customer service that is present, engaging, and embodies a positive approach even in situations that may be escalated.
- Ability to communicate, interpret, and process information of different types.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of trauma informed practices.
- Experience working collaboratively and supportively with a team.

Working conditions
- Employee’s work will be conducted Monday through Friday 8-5. Rare, compensated overtime may be required.
- You may interact with a wide range of people including some who have experienced trauma and or exhibit challenges in controlling their emotions.
- Limited physical exertion.
- May require sitting at a terminal or telephone for prolonged periods of the workday.
- This position is not remote.
