Amigos de Presidio Heights is hiring for the position of Spanish PreschoolTeacher:
We are looking for someone who is a native Spanish Speaker. We would like someone who has experience working with children and an engaging personality. Singing, dancing are essential for this position. We are located in San Francisco (Presidio Heights). We are a small preschool, licensed for 15 students.
Job Duties:
Help teachers organize groups and lead learning activities for students.
Help teachers manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students.
Help teachers teach weekly lesson plans.
Help teachers prepare materials for daily activities.
Assure the health and safety of students by following health and safety practices and procedures
Assist students in emergency and fire drill procedures; maintain classroom and related facilities in an attractive, safe, clean and orderly condition.
Assist students by providing proper examples, emotional support, a friendly attitude and general guidance.

Qualifications:
Spanish speaker
Be able to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, lift a 45lb child (if there were an emergency)
Maintain and implement procedures to ensure the health and safety of the children insuring that they are under supervision at all times.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences twice a year.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
