Quality Technician [Malaysia]


 

Job Scope -Attend Daily Morning Meeting (DMM) consistently. -To assist the PQE to handle the line down issue to ensure line resume back. -Perform mechanical and electronic parts failure analysis and completed with report as per committed duration. -Perform inspection and measurement according to committed duration. -To generate a test report for in house verification testing. -To assist PQE in failure analysis activity. -To ensure the laboratory is well maintained, calibrated in desire frequency and in perfect working condition, particularly equipment used in daily quality control or inspection. -Assist PQE or plant support to follow up and coordinate product quality issues which are detected by the production and customer. -To generate and publish the test report on time for any improvement, QZ test and start up projects. -Responsible to raise purchase request for testing cost, trial material cost, new accessories and material for practical/QZ test use. -Responsible to coordinate the practical/QZ waste with FCM department. -Others: Specific task assigned by the superior, as and when necessary, to meet target or deadline. Qualifications -Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering discipline from a recognized institution / college or professional institution. -Proficiency in spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia. -Basic computer knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel; possess SAP knowledge will be an added advantage -At least 1 year (s) of working experience in Engineering or Quality field is required for this position. -Able to use measuring equipment. -Able to use multi-meter, oscilloscope, LCR meter and able to read the PCBA schematic diagram. -Able to interpret & understand the technical drawing & measurement requirement. -Possess trouble shooting skills and able to design or fabricate tester and jig or fixture. -Able to understand product inspection plan, product test plan and standard e.g., EN60745, EN50144, IEC 61000-6-1. -Able to use GIS to check drawing and ANDI. -Able to use BGN to check for SOP. -Possess experience in product root cause analysis in manufacturing environment. -Possess quality knowledge such as QC 7 tools. -Well versed in using Standard PC software, working knowledge of soldering techniques/applications.
