Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana is searching for a BC/BE Fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist, with sub-fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia or experience with Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. The successful candidate will join a team with 10 Pediatric Anesthesiology Faculty members. Ochsner Hospital for Children ranked among the top 50 children's hospitals in the United States for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report. Experienced physicians and those directly from fellowship are welcomed to apply. Salary will commensurate with training and experience.
Our Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia practice includes all subspecialties and spans the spectrum from cardiac cath lab, non-cardiac surgery for cardiac kids to complex neonatal cardiac surgery. We support a 54-bed Level III-C NICU and 26-bed PICU, 35-bed pediatric unit, as well as a dedicated, full-time, region-wide pediatric transport team. The Department of Anesthesiology includes 70 anesthesiologists, 100 CRNA’s, and >30 house staff, with an annual case volume of >52,000.
