JOB DESCRIPTION
- To be able to run and manage one or both stores in the with no supervision.
- To set clear expectations, objectives and goals for one’s self as well as other employees regarding; attitude, exceptional customer service, store rules, team work, job performance, employee expectations, cleaning standards, health standards, overall store experience from the guest perspective and operations standards.
- To be able to motivate one’s self and team members and keep up store moral.
- To always lead by example.
- To monitor and implement strategies to decrease waste and over-scooping.
- To decrease customer complaints.
- To increase customer satisfaction and retention.
- To be flexible and adapt to this fast pace and readily changing environments.
- To train employees.
- To be knowledgeable about new store promotions, events, changing POP (point of purchase) materials.
- To change these materials according to plan-o-gram and monthly merchandising
- kit.
- To have a direct line of communication with Nic as well as all staff members.
- To enforce all of the store rules, regulations and policies.
- To deal with employee issues, call outs, etc.
- To conduct employee interviews.
- To build, frost and decorate cakes. Including deco pac designs, air brushed cakes and
- specialty items to look EXACTLY like standards set forth.
- To follow through and up on things.
- To cover shifts in the event of sickness or employees needing off for any reason
- To be dependable and reliable.
- TO HAVE AN INCREDIBLE AND EXCEPTIONAL ATTENTION TO DETAILS!
- Monitor all temperatures and keep temperature logs accurate to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- To provide feedback to all employees.
**Must complete serve safe exam with passing score and keep active certification
**Assistant Managers and Managers must be able to make ALL required cakes, deco pacs, tiered cakes and novelty item’s.
