Call for Registration of Interest to manage the Mokihinui Campground Contractor [New Zealand]


 

Council is looking for someone to successfully manage the Mokihinui Campground for a fixed term of 12-months, starting from Saturday 1 July 2023.

What we need
Duties will include all day to day operations and financial management of the campground. This will be reassessed after 6- months regarding the direction of Council owned campgrounds.
A subcommittee of community members, appointed by Council oversees the operations of the camp and will be on hand for support, assistance and guidance.

What we want
Council is seeking a contractor, not an employee. We seek an experienced campground manager who is able to independently operate the business with oversight from the subcommittee

What is important to us?
Experience in running a successful campground and keeping the community and visitor experience positive. Mokihinui is a close knit community with a vested interest in the campground.

A bit about the campground
Council owns the reserve the campground is located on. Mokihinui has an active subcommittee of community members who have been assisting with the running of the campground for many decades.

  • Deadline for questions from respondents: 5pm, Tuesday 6 June 2023
  • Deadline for registrations: 5pm, Friday 9 June 2023
  • Shortlisted respondents will be notified by: Wednesday 21 June 2023
  • Contract start date: Saturday 1 July 2023
