Job Description:

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Lithium-ion Battery Safety Test and Performance Test following GB, IEC, ISO, UL standards or other equivalent regulation standards.

• Lithium-ion Battery Test following Caterpillar Test Procedures and Requirements.

• Understand the Battery Regulations, China & International Test Standards.

• Understand Test Instruments & Specifications. Be able to evaluate and find the proper test equipments.

• Understand Battery Structure, Battery Techniques, Battery Work Safety Requirement.

• Be able to use Caterpillar Test tools, to communicate with Battery BMS, record the data, make necessary adjustment or tunings.

• Work on Battery Test or Battery Validation Projects. Meet project objective, and meet development partners and customer’s expectations.

• Create test plan via communicating with global teams, and cross-functions, write Testing Instructions for Tests.

• Test Data analysis, failure or issue analysis for battery test. Be able to find the root cause and make professional judgement and recommendations.

• Summarize and communicate results via presentation or host a meeting with global team members, partners, and other business units regularly.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in an accredited Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Good knowledge of battery techniques, battery test, or battery validation.

• Excellent in problem analysis and solving skill.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

• Creative, keep interest in taking challenge and pressure.

• Diligent, proactive, self-motived and open-minded.

• Excellent in English (oral & written), and Good Interpersonal skills.

• Strong Hands-on ability.

• Excellent teamwork.

Desired Qualifications:

• Battery Development Experience

• Battery Design Experience

• Test instrument Experience
