Your Key Responsibilities:
Building & leading a team of software engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring & hands-on career development.- Leading & owning timely delivery of modern & innovative technical solutions to address business needs
- Partnering with product managers, stakeholders & other engineering teams
- Advocating & advancing modern, agile software development and evangelizing great engineering & organizational practices
- Encouraging a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values
- Promoting the launch & maintenance of tools & processes supporting highly professional software engineering standards
- Actively collaborating with your colleagues & other leaders in the organization
Your Qualification:
BA/MA Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering- 5+ years of experience in software development, ideally with JEE (JSF, EJB, JPA, JMS & Webservices), REST, Angular2+, Oracle, and IntelliJ ), Maven & Eclipse/IntelliJ
- Relevant Development / Engineering / Testing experience in state of the art environments
- Broad experience in technical leadership and a solid background in software development, to be able to challenge and mentor your team members.
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications
- Relevant knowledge of Ecommerce and/or Payment industry advantageous
- Organizational & time-management skills
- Decision-making skills
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong initiative and dedication to quality
- Self-motivation, self-reliance and self-development
