We're currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Risk and Issue Coordinator to work with us on one of our large Defence accounts. This is an opportunity to assist the business as it navigates a number of Risk mitigation and Issue management within our engagement with CIO Group that spans traditional business functions within a Hybrid Cloud managed service provider setting.
As the Risk and Issues Coordinator, you will join a high-performing program team in a role where you can add value to the delivery of critical outcomes for our customer. You will perform risk assessments following the defined frameworks. In addition, this role will require you to engage with the customer and other strategic partners in the joint risk management forums.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Conducting risk assessments, collecting and analysing documentation
- Reviewing and assessing risk management policies and protocols, making recommendations and implementing modifications and improvements
- Actively engaging in end-to-end risk mitigation planning, resolution, and monitoring activities
- Actively engaging and coordinating the end-to-end issue resolution, and monitoring activities
- Monitoring performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions
- Participating in budget development and evaluating how to project plan changes impact cost and schedule
- Building and maintaining strong and positive working relationships and effective means of communication with key project stakeholders.
You have a background in Risk and Issue Management and are eager to expand and grow within this role.
We're looking for people who have experience in a similar Defence or Federal Government context, ideally on ICT programs or projects. You might be coming from a systems integrator, a technology provider or from public service.
To be successful, you must thrive in high tempo team environments, be collaborative and enjoy working in an integrated team environment. Your delivery experience has given you a strong relationship orientation and the ability to manage senior stakeholders, both internal and external.
