We are looking for a Service Engineer , to join our Services Team in Barcelona. In this position you will provide professional after-sales technical support to Emerson control systems installed base (DeltaV, DCS, AMS, ...).

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Assist customers in the resolution of product service and application issues, coordinating support from our Global Support Centre when necessary.
- Carry out installation/commissioning, fault analysis and repairs, investigate persistent or not easily resolvable issues at customer site.
- Implement process control software solutions.
- Participate in demonstrations of our products to potential customers providing professional advice un product applications and after sales service.
- Develop and implement product/system configuration changes at site to meet customer requirements.
- Provide on-site customer training in the application, service, and operation of our products.
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
- Degree in an engineering field, such as Electrical, Computer Science or Control systems.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with process Control System Programming (PLC/DCS) with a particular emphasis on installation, commissioning, start-up. Preferably with Emerson DeltaV DCS.
- Clear and effective leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish & English –written and spoken.
- Car driving license.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
