A & Wen Ltd is looking to employonewaitress for our restaurant based inTimaru.The waitress we are looking for will work 40 hours per week and be paid at least $30.00per hour. You will be expected to work in a busy environment but have to be presentable, reliable and able to deliver under pressure whiles maintain the highest standards of service. The main tasks include but not limited to the followings:
- Setting and arranging tables
- Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists
- Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen
- Serving food and beverages
- Opening bottles and pouring beverages
- Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen
- Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and replacing glasses
- Collecting payments for sales from customers
- Cleaning the floor, windows and walls in dining area when necessary
Qualification and work experience are not required but the applicant must be familiar with the dishes offered by a Chinese restaurant and the ability to understand both languages of English and Mandarin will be an advantage.
