The Academic Registry is looking for a talented individual to join the Registry Systems Team providing services to the University community. The appointee will work on various IT projects related to office digitalization and automation. Duties include:
- implementing e-forms and approval workflows by using low-code development tools, supporting the existing e-form services as well as assisting users to automate their business processes;
- improving user experience by employing conversational AI technologies;
- installing, maintaining and troubleshooting various computer systems including desktop equipment and software, in particular PCs, Macs, mobile devices/tablets, Microsoft Office 365 and other popular software;
- liaising with users, staff, students and other parties as necessary to solve IT or system-related problems; and
- performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, information technology, computer science or other relevant disciplines, or an associate degree or higher diploma in a related field with at least 1 year of post-qualification relevant work experience. The appointee is expected to be detail-oriented with a logical and meticulous mind. They should possess good analytical and communication skills, with a good command of spoken and written English. Knowledge and experience in low-code development tools such as Microsoft Power Platform will be an advantage. (Duration: 1 year)
