Henhouse Cafe has 4 locations in Gilbert, Mesa, and in Tempe, AZ is looking for one bookkeeper / administrator to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.
Must live local and have reliable transportation to work out of a store full-time.

Responsibilities

*Supporting all accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements, and running software programs *Supporting all accounting functional areas including but not limited to Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash, Inventory, and General Ledger *Receiving, verifying and assisting with processing invoices *Assisting with the research of vendor issues relating to payments or invoices *Maintaining a thorough record of all business transactions
Qualifications
We are looking for a detail-oriented, team player with excellent AP experience to provide support on all bookkeeping and Administration tasks

*Previous bookkeeping experience working in a small/medium size business *Proven experience in Accounts Payable and *Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, and/or Google sheets / docs *The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information *Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing *Strong people skills – polite and professional conduct when working with others *Hands on approach and willing to take on additional tasks

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Saturdays. Compensation is $22.00 - $28.00/hour.
