We are looking for a showroom-based experienced Kitchen Designer / Sales Consultant, to use their design flair, attention to detail and help our customers bring their kitchen, lighting, flooring and even wardrobe solutions come to life. You’ll be a part of a diverse supportive team.
Kitchens are one of the key inspirational areas within our store with an exciting range of products.
Our kitchen department is an exciting and fast-growing side of the business and this role gives you the opportunity to use your creative flair to design a kitchen and choose appliances to meet our customers needs. It also provides you the opportunity to expand on your DIY knowledge and share your ideas with our customers and team.
Working in this department means really listening to our customers requirements and presenting the right solutions along with ensuring they feel supported along their kitchen renovation journey.
Required days are Tuesday - Saturday up to 40 hours per week.
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Experience in sales and a strong customer service focus
- Skills or experience in Kitchen design
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
- Outstanding customer service with a passion to exceed customer expectation
- Excellent time management with the ability to perform under pressure
- The ability to work alone and with a diverse team
- Good organisation skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- A lateral thinker who can identify solutions and be creative
- Excellent computer skills including using CAD based programs and Microsoft Office.
- A willingness to learn
- Physically fit as heavy lifting is required
- Be prepared to go the extra mile

Previous retail experience with knowledge in how to draft accurate CAD designs in accordance with our customers need is a must have for this role.
