Seeking 2 marine tradesman TODAY who at master level for 8 million dollar custom yacht final phase in our otay yard, dedicated to this one vessel. The yacht builder will help explain THEN LISTEN TO how you will complete each task, then inspect.
Contract candidate must be fit enough to crawl in and out of spaces and quickly run off a large yacht, up to top, back down to get a tool or part, run back to assist and learn by watching yacht builder perform surgery in hard to complete areas and feed him parts and tools with same precision.
Commissioning task involving, wood, electronics, fabrics, hydraulics, eng. Start ups, wiring, fabricating, cutting, welding, painting, mechanical.
Person needs to know what every tool is called and be able to organize tool room, tool bags and parts room, bring to and from boat. No criminal records involving theft.
You determine your pay rate: Entry level subs usually bill us up to $25 an hr average, mid level skills good at cutting and meaduring 30/hrs, senior level skill (you can explain how you will complete without builders input) $45-65, master level skill $75/hr-$100 this level usually are confident enough to give us fixed price bids and work statements vs hourly. examples. Top end is skilled marine diesel mechanics, varnishers, finish painters, marine electricians, wood workers who are best in world in thier category. We can afford them BUT seldom do we get what's promised or and most are not as talented as we MUST HAVE to be in yachting in San Diego.
Progress billed weekly/printed paper invoice/paid within 24hrs.
