Rich Target Venture is specialised in hard & soft Landscaping services & Garden maintenance services throughout Auckland. We are also dealing with all types of fencing and decking solutions. This is a full-time role with a guarantee of 30 hours per week Hours can reach to 40 hours or above during peak times.
We are looking for someone who wants to be a Landscaper and has a love for plants. Successful applicant will be energetic and passionate individual who can be a part of our growing team.
You will be responsible for following key duties as a landscaper
- Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass.
- Planting, irrigation, installation and maintenance.
- Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.
- Assist management with seed/plant selection as per the environment conditions.
- Preparing lawn areas by spreading topsoil and planting grass, and by lying artificial turf.
- Provide care of established lawns by weeding, removing thatch etc.
- Maintaining planted and grasses areas by weeding, trimming around flower beds, walks and walls
- Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides onto grass, shrubs and trees using hand or automatic sprayers and spreaders, as GROWSAFE course is qualified.
- Waters lawns, trees and plants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses or watering cans.
- Mow the edges of the lawn
Job requirements:
- Previous work experience is preferable.
- You must be motivated, reliable and physically fit.
- Zero tolerance of drugs at workplace.
