MEDICAL MANAGER (Oncology)
Job Description
- Planning and executing medical operations and medico-marketing activities for Oncology product portfolio,
- Working in close communication & collaboration with global/regional Medical department,
- Managing communication to the leaders regarding medical background of assigned product portfolio,
- Providing Medical information and Pharmacovigilance support to the organization,
- Managing Medical queries and requests,
- Supporting evaluation of new products for business development purposes,
- Reviewing the promotional materials and activities of competitors and notifying the related company, MoH and Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association if not compliant with the local laws, regulations and AIFD code,
- Determines the data gap for the related products and plans for the necessary observational/interventional studies for the data gap. Prepares the clinical study plan and study budget,
- Support the review of all medical grants and donation requests to ensure alignment with therapy area strategies,
- Responding to customer inquiries related with his/her products and/or therapeutic areas,
- Supporting MedInfo Team for responding to literature search requests and if needed, for transferring the requests.
The Successful Applicant
- University degree in MD,
- 2 or more year of experience in managing the medical strategy in the pharmaceutical industry,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English,
- Excellent communication and presentation skills,
- Strong knowledge in Oncology area,
- Absolute commitment to the highest ethical standards and accountability for individual actions,
- Ability to work as a strategic partner with commercial functions,
- Strong ability to develop timely and meaningful research protocols and study reports,
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
