Job Title: Sr Customer Service Representative-Vendor Admin & Invoicing

POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for driving customer experience and delivering operational efficiency. You will work closely with the wider Thermo Fisher Customer Care organization as well the IES service and commercial teams to ensure an excellent and consistent customer experience for our customers.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Take the lead on new assignments, process improvement and projects, as part of a team or on an individual basis.
- Communicate with customers and vendors taking part in sales discussions.
- Handle and maintain vendor contract information.
- Taking part in invoicing processes.
- Maintain supplier database.
- Complete the process for raised inquiries and complaints to resolution, without managerial support.
- Assess the need for change and implement to increase productivity.
- Purchase contract from Vendors based on customer requirements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 2+years experience preferably in a purchasing, bookkeeping or customer care environment.
- Vocational Training or bachelor’s is helpful but not crucial.
- Proficiency of the English and German Language both written and verbal.
- Confirmed Microsoft Office user (Outlook, Excel).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Negotiating skills/attitude is necessary.
- Ability to prioritize, working with data, strong problem solving skills and confident multi-tasking under deadlines.
- Display stringent attention to detail and accuracy in the workplace.
