Job Description
- 1.1 Perform all routine preventive maintenance curative maintenance.
- 1.2 Maintain and tidy plant rooms
- 1.3 Attend to all type of repairs and maintenance work in the hotel premises ,including any new additions/extensions to the Hotel or any other properties maintained by the Hotel
- 1.4 Repair and maintain guest room facilities ,lights ,furniture and equipment .
- 1.5 Assist with implementation of the hotel`s preventative maintenance system and repair log system
- 1.6 Prioritize work in line with guest request and management
- 1.7 Inform superior of the status of repairs and pending cost and indicate when it would be reasonable to consider replacement
- 1.8 Record daily service work ,including maintaining individual replacement cost along with time/task labour hours cost.
- 1.9 Establish and maintain proper parts inventory level
- 1.10 Conduct and/or participate in staff meeting regarding proper operating and maintenance practices of equipment
- 1.11 Implement and carry out maintenance program in accordance with establish timeframes
- 1.12 Carry out and documents regular inspection of plant equipment in computerised system
- 1.13 Ensure that appropriate files are maintained and resources kept for future reference
- 1.14 Complete daily reports outlining work undertaken for the day
- 1.15 Explore and incorporate environmentally friendly initiatives
- 1.16 Efficient and effective use of recycling methods
- 1.17 Maintain a level of broader knowledge which enables you to handle minor problems in
- all field
- 1.18 Maintain the pool and all water features using proper chemical and cleaners
- 1.19 Test the chemical level in public swimming pool and other water system

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
University
Professional Certifications
LANGUAGES:
Fluent English, a second language will be an advantage (better if it’s the same where the hotel is based).
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:
Health and Safety Legislation
M&E Building System
WORK EXPERIENCE IN OTHER COMPANIES (IN CASE OF EXTERNAL SELECTION):
2 years in a similar position in large hotels or international companies.
WORK EXPERIENCE IN MHI (IN CASE OF INTERNAL PROMOTION):
2 years in the company in similar position in large hotels.
