Hi!

Opulence is a company that provides short term rentals and short term rental management. We are looking for 1 dedicated Airbnb cleaners for home bookings. Airbnb is a platform in which homeowners provide hotel-like short term housing for guests.

NO CLEANING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Opulence is looking to fill the position of a main cleaner for a 3 bedroom home that’s 1053 SQFT located in Goose Creek, SC.

Cleanings would include making up the beds, washing and folding sheets, and the following:

CLEANING CHECKLIST

Living Room

  • Inspect the pillows and throws. If any stains, spot clean them with SHOUT, and use the firm toothbrush to scrub it out.
  • Rearrange pillows and throws if necessary. Inspect for crumbs, hairs, etc. Use the lint brush if you spot these.
  • Inspect the coffee tables (if applicable) for any fingerprints, crumbs or liquids. If spotted, use your Windex and microfiber cloth and wipe them down.
  • Sweep, mop

Kitchen

  • Hand wash any dirty dishes if there are only a few. If there are many dirty dishes, use the dishwasher. Also check the dishwasher for any clean dishes and stock them in the cabinets.
  • Check the microwave. If dirty, wipe down with bleach spray.
  • Check the fridge. If dirty, wipe down with an all purpose cleaner. Remove any food/items a guest has left in the fridge and freezer ONLY before and after entire home bookings, so that you can avoid accidentally throwing away a private room guest’s belongings.
  • Wipe down counters with an all purpose cleaner. Check if the soaps or paper towels need refilling. Check to see if the hand towel or kitchen towel is dirty—if so, change to a clean one. Take out trash.
  • For glass stovetops: wipe down by adding baking powder, and then white vinegar. This is the only method that will remove the cooking scratches.
  • Sweep, mop.

Dining Room

  • Wipe down the table with all purpose cleaner or wood cleaner, as designated.
  • Sweep, mop.

Patio (if applicable)

  • Wipe down tables if necessary.
  • Sweep if necessary.
  • Take out trash.

Bedrooms

  • After making the bed, catch any hairs or particles with your lint roller.
  • Dust as necessary.
  • Wipe down the nightstand(s) with an all purpose cleaner.
  • Sweep or vacuum. For carpeted homes: If there are stains on the carpet, do not ignore them. Scrub them out with the 409 and carpet brush before vacuuming.
  • Wipe down the TV if necessary.
  • Place remote(s) where they belong.
  • Take out trash.
  • Restock towels and washcloths.

Bathroom

  • Wipe mirror with Windex and microfiber cloth.
  • Use bleach spray for the rest of the bathroom. Clean the tub. Change the shower curtain liner if it’s visibility dirty.
  • Clean the inside of the toilet if necessary, with toilet brush and toilet cleaner.
  • Clean outside of the toilet with 1-2 paper towels (not with the reusable cloth)
  • Wipe down the sink.
  • Sweep.
  • Mop
  • Take out trash.
  • Restock tissue and a new hand towel, if necessary. Make sure that the hand soap, body wash, and shampoo are full of product.

The job requires 10+ cleanings per month at $20/hour. You'd have a 7 hour deadline to clean the home; between 10am-5pm. Amount earned per cleaning would be $140+. To join Opulence, you:

--Must have a flexible schedule daily, especially from 10am-5pm Monday-Friday. You won’t need to clean on weekends UNLESS the guest was unhappy with your cleaning, so you may need to correct cleanings on weekends. Therefore, you’d need to at least be flexible on weekends. Sometimes we get last minute bookings, which means you may have less than a 24 hour notice of your next cleaning.

--Must be able to accept payments online with a 3-7 day processing time.
