The Role
The APS 5 Contract Governance / Integrated Logistics Support Officer will play an important role in supporting the Supplier/Contract Management functions in SRSPO. As a member of the team you will execute procurement and contract management activities supporting sustainment of the P-8A Poseidon and MQ-4C Triton aircraft capability. Similarly supporting the wider SRSPO demonstrating flexibility, responsiveness and situational awareness. Responsibilities will include:
- Provide advice and assistance on complex procurement and contract management activities.
- Support minor contract management activities, liaising with key stakeholders associated with contract deliverables and ensuring all associated administration is compliant with Defence policies and procedures.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with all stakeholders that support the P-8A and Triton programs.
- Provide Integrated Logistic Support guidance and governance to ensure compliance with the CASG Business rules.
- Support the primary Contract Managers in the execution of contract deliverables.
This position will be required to access US export controlled materiel and therefore applicants will be requested to disclose any dual citizenship with another country during the recruitment process. Dual citizens may be subject to further assessment and appointment to this position will be conditional upon approval to access US controlled export material be in accordance with the United States Arms Export Control Act.
The current advertised vacancy is located in Edinburgh SA. However, remote work arrangements located out of Defence bases in Canberra, ACT or Williamtown, NSW may be considered for the successful applicants. About our Team
Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office (SRSPO) ensures the availability and performance of highly complex surveillance and response airborne and related systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). This includes the P-8A Poseidon and the P-3C (Electronic Warfare) aircraft systems. SRSPO also acquires and supports common Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) that is used on all air vehicles operated by the RAAF, Navy and Army. In the near future we will support a new remotely piloted high altitude long endurance aircraft system, the MQ4 Triton.
