In this exciting position, your responsibilities include amongst others:
- Support the weekly customer collection cash forecasting
- On-time and complete cash collection according to agreed payment terms
- Pro-actively solve any bottlenecks with other departments such as customer service, account management, treasury and the customer itself
- Write, maintain training procedures and train team members
- Participate in (many times cross functional) improvement projects
- Execute credit risk analysis for existing and new customers
- Execute credit control compliant with the internal control processes
What you will need
- Ready for a next step in your career with a minimum of 2 years of experience in credit & AR department or closely related field preferably in a High-Tech Industry
- Master/bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other business related field
- Fluent in English
- Strong credit, collections and negotiating skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficient knowledge of financial statements and analysis used to determine credit worthiness
- Proficient written and verbal communication with above average presentation skills
- Excellent skills in Excel (Vlook-up and Pivot Tables), Word & PowerPoint
- SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling) as well as SD (Sales & Distribution) experience is a plus
- xperience with Business Intelligence / Business Warehouse / Business Objects / Spotfire is a plus
- Experience with customer programs and self-billing is an advantage
- Extravert, rather call a customer or talk to a colleague instead of sending out an e-mail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision
- Flexible hours to accommodate regional and global responsibilities
- Accurate and pro-active and can-do-mentality, ability to get things done and do not take “NO” for an answer when it is about collection of cash
- Self-critical on work performed
